I would like to extend my deepest thanks and gratitude to Mike Hanson and the Varghese Summersett firm. My wife and I were victims of ID theft and the scammers made it look as if we were the ones doing the illegal activity. We reported it to the police, closed our bank accounts and credit cards, but the State still felt the need to try and prosecute us for the wrong doings of others. We were referred to Mike and he listened to our story and worked diligently gathering proof that showed that we were innocent and that everything happened just as we said it did. In fact the firm was completely behind us after all the proof had been brought to light. My wife and I are law abiding citizens who have no criminal record and have never been in trouble with the law. We felt that the District Attorney's office doesn't really care if you're innocent or not, they just want a win under their belt, no matter what the cost. This case against us was a true misuse of the justice system. No one could understand why we the victims were being treated like the criminals. No one should have to go through what we went through. We want to thank Mike and his team for believing in us and working so hard to find the truth in order to get our case dismissed. I would highly recommend this firm if you find yourself in need.

I had a great experience working with Kristen Carr and her team. Kristen was my attorney, and she did an excellent job breaking everything down for me and making sure I understood exactly what was happening at each step. Varghese Summersett is the greatest law firm! I was blessed to have Ashley Feldt defend me and she saved my life! I am so grateful for her and even more, my family is so grateful for her! We owe her the world for successfully getting ALL of my charges DISMISSED with no jail, no probation, no deferred adjudication, no tickets or anything. I was arrested and charged with a third degree felony which was upgraded to two felonies after the indictment and I had the highest bond you could possibly get for the charge (50,000). I was feeling down and I wanted to make sure I chose the right firm to represent me because it matters so much who represents you in court. I did a lot of research on firms in Denton county and the surrounding areas and heard too many good things about Varghese Summersett to ignore. Their communication is excellent and they will inform you of all the things going on with the case, anything you need to do and all times and dates that you need to know. My attorney Ashley Feldt was able to successfully get my ankle monitor removed pretty much as soon as she got on the case and then just 2 months later, we had a motion to dismiss hearing and the judge rightfully saw that the case against me was made up and ordered that the charges must be dismissed. I was so anxious before the hearing but when she started arguing in court, I felt completely at ease and she outclassed the prosecutor in every way possible. I am now free and no longer under any obligation to stay in the DFW area or go to any court dates. My anxiety about the future is gone thanks to the hard work of Varghese Summersett and am now happily living with my family again away from Texas. Thank yall so much and God bless!
